Looks like Will's character takes to the bottle while "flying around"! (Why are his legs super shiny?) Here's a little synopsis: A tortured superhero (Smith) who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (Charlize Theron) of the public relations

i know i can't be the only one who sees will smith as just a tool by film makers to exault the image of the black male. hollywood just refuses to portray him as anything but a hero...even as a homeless person..who are the dregs of society. most of them choose that lifestyle and are either drug-addicted or alcoholic.
did anyone catch the ''boy'' remark his said to the little white boy who woke him up in the beginning. ''boy'' was a term used by whites to describe black males from the slave days.

Or, maybe if you weren't so hung up on the past it wouldn't matter at all. So what, he's black. What if a white actor had portrayed the character of Hancock? Would it really mean anything at all if he were white? Nope. Hancock would still be a D-Bag because that's the way his character is. This is a movie about second chances. Will Smith just happens to be a good actor and helped produce the damn thing. This is not a movie about racism. Grow up.

i'm not hung up, i just remember a time when the movies weren't packed full of propoganda and have an agenda. are you not intelligent enough to recognize propoganda when you see it. right away i see the camera soaring in the clouds and the words appear almost godlike out the clouds ''there are heros'' or some trash.
smith is a hot dog. he seems incapable of wiping that smirk off his face as he dupes his audience.
the remarks he made in russia about america during the election did it for me.

In the 1970s, the word "nigger" was used on television some. I don't remember hearing it on TV before "Roots" aired, but then I went back and watched some old episodes of "Good Times", "The Jeffersons", and "Barney Miller". On "Good Times", "The Jeffersons", and "Barney Miller", it was a black character who used the word. The movies have never been subject to the same censorship as network television.
